Measure before you choose
A few measurements help you choose a suitable product and plan the fit. Measure before ordering or cutting, check surface compatibility and follow the instructions supplied with each item.
Clear window-seal tape
- Locate the air path and check that the seam is stationary and suitable to seal.
- Measure the total length of the seams you want to cover.
- The tape is 5 cm wide. Check that this width can bridge the seam on compatible, clean, dry surfaces.
- Choose a 2-roll or 4-roll pack. If you need help estimating the number of rolls for your measurements, contact us before ordering; pack size alone does not establish a window count.
Test adhesive on a small hidden area first. Keep drainage, required ventilation, moving window parts and emergency openings clear.
Trim-to-fit door seals
- Measure the door width and the gap at several points along its bottom edge.
- Each strip is 100 × 5 cm before trimming. Confirm that its length suits your door.
- Check clearance through the full swing, including rugs and thresholds.
- Fit the seal according to its instructions, then check that the door opens, closes and latches freely.
The 5 cm strip width is not a 5 cm gap rating. Preserve required ventilation and the door’s safety function. Place a separate floor-resting draft stopper only where it will not obstruct movement.
Cut-to-size window film
- Measure the width and height of the opening and allow for the fastening border required by the supplied instructions.
- The kit contains one 120 × 120 cm sheet and matching perimeter fasteners. The overall sheet size is not the usable opening size.
- Mark and cut the sheet to size at home, retaining the required border allowance. This is not a custom-cut order.
- Prepare the compatible mounting perimeter and attach the sheet using the supplied fastening system.
This is a perimeter-fastened sheet, not heat-shrink film. Do not heat-shrink it. Keep emergency access, window hardware, drainage and required ventilation usable.
Throws, curtains, rugs and cushions
The non-electric Textured Cozy Throw is 150 × 200 cm. Compare that with the personal layer or area you want to cover. Measure curtain width and drop, chair seats and floor areas before choosing other textiles. Keep rugs flat and secure and check door clearance. Do not assume a rug or socks are slip-resistant.
Heaters and heated throws
Use the appliance manual and electrical label for placement, outlet and use requirements. Keep a space heater at least 3 ft from curtains, bedding, furniture and other combustible materials, or farther if its manual requires it. Plug directly into a suitable wall outlet, attend it during use, and turn it off before leaving the room or sleeping. Follow the heated throw’s own instructions for positioning and care.
Bundles
Measure for every included component separately. A bundle does not guarantee coverage for a whole room or apartment, and each item keeps its own installation and operating requirements.
